Belsos was a sculptor born in Southern Desert. His father, the King of Brukan Kingdom was slaughtered by their enemy, the Qashilah Tribe (크실리야 부족). As the King’s Son, assassins constantly hounding after his life, throughout his childhood. It is unlikely he experienced the same fate after Weed changed history for him and made the desert more fertile.

  • Belsos grew up the hard way
    • Being born in Desert where tribal wars frequently occurred, he hid among desert caravan tribes in order to survive from assassin attacks.
    • Learning sculpting and swordsmanship from a young age, he then followed mercenaries in order to gain more fighting experience and knowledge.
    • When he's ready, he returned to his hometown and became the King.
  • The King Who Unified the Desert tribes
    • He leads Brukan Kingdom army of warriors and fire spirits, finally restoring peace back to the desert lands.
    • Unfortunately, his successor's greed towards the throne and war treasures eventually led to the destruction of their kingdom.

  • Young Belsos[1]
    • As the Kingdom Royal lineage, assassins constantly pursued him, forcing him to seeks refugee within desert caravan tribes.
    • He grew up along the desert caravan tribes, carrying their belonging[2] and seeing precious things. His attention was drawn to these precious things (sculptures and swords).
    • He sculpted small sculptures with his tiny hands and gains recognition.
    • He learns swordsmanship from mercenaries, travelling through the desert and the central continent with them.
  • Begining of The Great King of Fire Belsos
    • He grew up and finally returned back to his clan.
    • Belsos wore a scorpion necklace and had fresh tribal tattoos on him.
    • After he became the King of the Brukan Kingdom, he ruled over the southern desert.
    • Belsos was called the Great King of Fire and numerous Fire Spirits followed him.
  • Revenge Against Qashilah Tribe
    • Qashilah Tribe army forces were so strong that nobody could touch them. They plundered other desert tribes and slaughtered the nomads who raised sheep and camels, and took away their livestock. They also murdered Belsos father, Brukan Kingdom's former King. Qashilah army consists of more than 100,000 camel cavalry, each wielded long, curved swords and deals with bows skillfully. Their combat power wasn’t inferior to the Knights of the Central Continent.
    • On the other hand, the tribal warriors of the Balkan Kingdom were less than 30,000, some of them are general infantry that didn’t ride camels.
    • Based on this statistic alone, the battle result seems to lean forward the Qashilah side, but King Belsos’ army also contained tens of thousands of fire spirits.
    • Belsos take advantage of the desert where fire spirits could roam freely and finally brought peace to the desert.
  • Endless Human Greed
    • Desert land so barren that grain couldn’t be grown and there were fights between tribes over the oasis. So, he commanded fire spirits and fight to secure a large territory in the Central Continent.
    • Tremendous treasures from war begin to accumulate and eventually, greed have blurred his peoples' eyes. They seek for more war instead of living peacefully with current wealth.
    • He decided to stay inside his palace and did not participate in any battle.
    • Meanwhile, the territory of the kingdom expanded and more treasures came in with more warriors recruited.
    • As he grew old, some of his successors appeared and fought against each other for power. He totally ignored this situation and continued to carve the fire spirits
    • Eventually, he abandoned his human body and became a spirit himself. He became the King of Fire spirit (불의 정령왕).
  • King Belsos Disappearance from Palace
    • After Belsos suddenly disappeared from the palace, the fire spirits also disappeared. There was no reason to fight for the Kingdom anymore and the Kingdom collapsed. The successors plundered the royal palace, all of Belsos sculptures was burned in the accident.
    • The Brukan Kingdom power were weakened by the war between the tribes and the Masen Kingdom once again drove them back into the desert.
    • Fortunately, several mementoes and other valuables had been moved by Belsos to the Musos Valley before the palace was plundered.
    • Sadly, despite his great achievements, there was a small number of sculptures remaining until today.
  • The Curse of King Belsos Upon The Whole Continent
    • King Belsos wrath was the reason for the Crimson Wing Guild’s destruction, and affect the temperature of the Versailles Continent after they failed to solve a level A quest[3].
    • Weed shared information with his colleagues about the fact that The King of the Fire Spirits, King Belsos cursed the continent to be hot because people carelessly touched his relics[4].
    • Bellot and Hwaryeong plan to perform shows based on The History of King Belsos around performance venues in Morata.
  • Dragon Quest[5]
    • Dragon Akryong Kaybern, Black dragon himself, commanded Weed to steal an agate crystal from Belsos Tomb and bring it to him within 30 days (the very first quest from A Dragon in the entire Continent).
    • He lends him his personal guard, the Spartoi (11 of them) since he deems humans are weak compared to the Dragons.
  • Sculptor Master, Belsos Sophisticated Work[6]
    • While Weed was observing the sculptures inside King Belsos Tomb, he found many scorpion sculptures. The scorpions in this room were so elaborate that it seemed as if they were alive and crawling. Only then he realized that King Belsos was one of the Master Sculptor. The scorpion sculptures inside this tomb were so sophisticated, he felt that his own sculpture inferior compared to Belsos's work.
    • All his life, Belsos liked to sculpt the Scorpion form the most, and he became incredibly good at it. His tomb is full of Scorpions pattern and sculptures. Weed used identification skill on one of these sculptures to find more information about this Master Sculptor.
  • Tomb Full of Treasures
    • Weed felt tempted to steal the treasures inside the tomb, but luckily his colleagues quickly grabbed his arm, before Weed could act on his own impuls[7].
    • His friends, Bellot and Hwaryeong were greedy too.
    • Learn from Crimson Wing's Guild mistake, Weed decided to leave all the treasures
  • King of Fire Spirit Sculpture[8]
    • Weed found an uncomplete Sculpture inside the tomb. He finally realized that the quest given must be related to his sculptor master quest.
